How our shop helps

  • Ceramic frit screen printing Borders, blackout bands, logos and legends fired into the glass during tempering. Permanent.
  • Drilling and edgework in-house Holes, countersinks, seamed, ground or polished edges — no second vendor, no second freight leg.
  • Large-format CNC cutting Shapes, notches and radii cut from your DXF or DWG on lites up to 90" × 144".
  • Tempering under the same roof Cut, printed and tempered in one building, so a print revision doesn't ripple through three subcontractors.

DXF, DWG, PDF or a dimensioned sketch. We check hole placement and edge distances against tempering limits before we price it — so the quote you get is the part you can actually have.

FAQ

Questions we get about lab equipment glass

Something not covered? Call the shop — you'll reach someone who has run the oven.

Can you print graduations or a scale on the glass?

Yes — ceramic frit, fired during tempering, so cleaning agents and repeated wiping won't remove it the way they will with pad printing or film.

How tight a tolerance can you hold?

± 1/32" on cut size is standard. If your seal needs tighter, tell us before quoting and we'll say honestly whether we can hold it.

Is tempered glass right for a sight glass under pressure?

Depends on the pressure and the failure mode you need. Send the application data — we'd rather turn down a part than have one fail in the field.
