FAQ

Questions we get about cabinet door glass

Something not covered? Call the shop — you'll reach someone who has run the oven.

Does cabinet glass need to be tempered?

Usually not by code, but tempering is cheap insurance on tall or frequently handled doors — and required if the door is in a hazardous location. We do both.

Can you control reed direction?

Yes. Call out vertical or horizontal reed on the order and we cut to it, which matters on a run of doors.

How do you price small parts?

By square footage with a minimum charge per piece, so batching a full kitchen's worth of lites prices far better than trickling them in.
